“Freeze”, the Disney princess team that plays softball creates a sensation in the networks

We live in a society full of topics, some of them several hundred years old and most promoted by macho societies to a greater or lesser degree. Many of these topics are instilled in us from a very young age through stories: handsome, brave, adventurous princes and the beautiful, submissive princesses and center of peace of the universe.

But real life is something else and now we have princesses who don't know how to stand still, who play "boy stuff" and who often end up rescuing the prince from himself and his clichés. This is the case of the American softball children's team whose name is in honor of the already archifamous film Frozen and its princesses and has come to light thanks to the photographs that have gone up to the networks with its princess-dressed components. "Freeze", the team of Disney princesses that plays softball creates a sensation in the networks.

As you can imagine, all the members of the team are unconditional fans of Elsa, so much so that the first name they chose for the team was "Sparkling Elsas" although in the end they were satisfied with that of "Freeze", something much more commercial.

Betsy Gregory She is a professional photographer and also the mother of the team's cacher. One day, almost at the end of the season, when they had not done very well in sports but in return they had had a great time and had fun, it occurred to him to allow girls to dress up in their own costumes Princess Elsa, keeping the rest of the clothing, that is, the paintings, the boots to play and the fierce faces of softball warriors.

The session was the most fun, but what Betsy did not expect, was the great reception that his photographs were going to have. And the networks were revolutionized with the idea and especially with the message: "princesses can also be tough"

The message has been clear, they are girls, they like princesses, pretty dresses and hairstyles, but also play softball and do other things that we are not accustomed to seeing, because of anachronistic clichés, to date.

They have "normal" uniforms and wore in their caps tufts of blond hair of Elsa, but due to the wind in the parties they had to remove it.

Hopefully they can serve as an example to many other girls and that the message that there are no things of a boy or a girl and that our children can become what they want to be regardless of the sex with which they were born.
