Ice cream with breast milk?

It seems that claiming the human consumption of breast milk (by adults, I mean) has become fashionable. Some have taken advantage of the media pull of the owner of a restaurant in Switzerland by trying to include breast milk in their dishes to do their thing.

They have sent a letter from PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) to Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, the founders of the ice cream company Ben & Jerry's, urging them to they replace cow's milk with breast milk in the elaboration of their products.

Contrary to the case of the Swiss restaurant, it is more a complaint to the exploitation of dairy cows than to the promotion of breast milk as food, however it once again brings to the forefront the debate of human milk for human consumption . We all drink cow's milk and we are not frightened by it, when it would be for the cow's milk to be taken by the calves and the human, the people.

Anyway, I don't think the letter (you can't miss it, it's in English) puts pressure on the ice cream makers that will continue to make them with the same old recipe. The issue of sanitary controls is complex, breast milk should pass strict analyzes and there is a risk that some mothers will prioritize making money when selling their milk before offering it to their babies.

I don't think it turned out. Maybe I am wrong and soon they surprise us with a new line of products made with breast milk. For starters, they should replace the cow on the package label with a mom.
