The rights of the child, for children

On November 20, in addition to the general elections in Spain, World Children's Rights Day is celebrated, a special date that we talk about year after year. On this occasion we present An interesting publication, Children's Rights, for Children, which Save the Children is intended for children.

This is an adapted version of the Rights for children from six to eight years old but that we can read even with the little ones, because their attractive presentation and their participatory proposals, with spaces to draw, they will also like.

Important concepts such as nature, health, education ... are parading through the pages of this beautiful book that we can read on-line next to the kids, and if we wish we can print it (at least the pages where there is space for them to write or draw).

The book begins with the definition of "rights" in a language adapted to children and proposes activities to reflect in school or at home. It reminds us of the most important:

All girls and boys aged 0 to 18 have an international law that protects us: the Convention on the Rights of the Child. All children have the same rights. That means that governments, families and all the people around us must protect and treat us well.

I am convinced that Children's Rights will be closer to being achieved for everyone In the future, it is they who are children today, who are aware of their importance. And what better way to start getting to know them when they are little, thanks to this adaptation of Children's rights for children.
