Fun crafts: a felt world map

Looking for a manual job to do with my son I found ideas for decorate with felt on the page of Jean Talbot, an American designer who makes works with this really wonderful material and that have made me decide to make this Fun craftsmanship: a felt world map.

We have decided to be inspired by this felt map of the world, full of lovely details made with the same material that can represent animals, monuments or plants of each region and that, by putting a sewn velcro behind, the child can then change of site.

It is necessary felt of many colors, chosen according to the details that we are going to make, colored beads and threads and especially a large blue felt canvas that we will cut to make a circle as large as we want our project to be.

As a decoration for a wall, as a gift and as a learning material this felt craft project Surely it will be something that little ones will love as much as we do.
