Family and Health: new AEPap website

Today we bring good news for families. The Spanish Association of Primary Care Pediatrics has created the “Family and health” website: Parents and pediatricians in the care of children and adolescents, with the aim of promoting health education, promoting healthy lifestyle habits and improving child and adolescent health care from the family environment.

The website is aimed primarily at parents, although it also aims to provide health professionals involved in child and adolescent health with their daily clinical practice, providing guidelines and information.

The Family and Health website It is divided into seven sections with abundant updated information and a fairly close and colloquial character, to reach all audiences:

  • "We live healthy", with the keys to successful breastfeeding, hygiene and sleep recommendations, leisure and physical activity, emotional health ...
  • "We can prevent", from neonatal screening to accident prevention or sun protection ...
  • "Vaccines", with frequent questions, vaccination schedules, international vaccination ...
  • "We are concerned that ..." collects numerous articles in alphabetical order related to various topics related to the health of babies, children and adolescents.
  • "Diseases" meanwhile is a section that is subdivided into diseases of the newborn, infections, and those that affect the different organs.
  • "Tools for parents" offers practical information, from growth charts to rules of use of some drugs or documents and books of interest.

It is important to note that the contents of this page are updated in order to provide families with truthful and reliable information. The format and writing of the articles are designed to facilitate their use and compression.
