"Can you tell me an opera?", Illustrated book and CD with the most famous operas for children

Opera may sound like ritual and luxury, but this musical show is also available to children. "Can you tell me an opera?" It is an illustrated book with CD to introduce children to the world of opera.

The book adapts the librettos of the best-known operas so that they can be told to children as stories. Because operas can tell stories of brave knights, evil witches, noble adventurers, princesses in danger or an ingenious barber.

What child does not like music, songs, costumes and theater: because all these incentives are joined by opera, a total art that also tells us fantastic themes and immortal stories.

The book includes operas as well known as "The Magic Flute" by Wolfang Amadeus Mozart; "La Bohème", by Giacomo Puccini; "Tristán e Isolda", by Richard Wagner; "Aída", by Giuseppe Verdi; "Orpheus and Eurydice," by Christoph Willibald Gluck; and "The barber of Seville," by Gioacchino Rossini.

The author of the work is Nathalie Pons Roussel and the illustrator, Carles Arbat, is recognized nationally and internationally and has published more than 50 books.

"Can you tell me an opera?" It is a children's book that includes a CD with fragments of the most famous operas to bring children closer to this genre. It is edited by Oniro in Planeta de Libros and costs 17'95 euros.
