Work, bringing words, stories and books to children

The Apalabrar Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of written and oral words in Spain, Andorra and in Latin America in Chile and Argentina. Its main objective is to bring free shows to the less favored sectors, including children's homes, shelters for the homeless, prisons ...

Apalabrar also supports editorial projects for novel writers and the work of oral storytellers in reading animation, and organizes storytelling sessions for children in schools and hospitals, making hospital stays for young patients lighter.

He has also held workshops and conferences in different countries, along with courses and research promoting new experiences in the field of reading, for example related to the early stimulation of the baby in relation to books.

And is that it is never too early for the child to make contact with the letters, with the words, with the drawings of the books, with the poetry of the moms of mum and dad ... That is why I have found it very interesting to discover this Foundation, which has an intense program in Latin America.

Because while the approach to books begins at home and at school, actions of this type are necessary to consolidate that approach and to try to bring the books to those who have had less contact with them.

Definitely, Apalabrar performs an important task of promoting important readingWell, every step you take is sure that you get someone to love reading a little more. And in that work that we will be watching children are protagonists in many ways.
