Photography workshop for children in October at the National Geographic store in Madrid

To celebrate the 125th anniversary in National Geographic Madrid Store Workshops related to photography are organized throughout the month of October 2013, the objective is to complement the intense educational work that this store has launched in 2013 with children. So you can see the incredible photo exhibition which celebrates the most fascinating and important moments in the history of the National Geographic Society as well as talks and colloquiums. Although in Peques and Más we are going to talk about how kids have the opportunity to become photographers With this workshop.

And it is that on Saturdays of October (5, 12, 19 and 26) at 12:30 in the National Geographic Madrid Store on Gran Vía Street, 74 in Madrid these workshops will be held, in collaboration with PhotoEspaña, to bring the world of the image closer to the kids.

Children who participate in these workshops can discover some of the best kept secrets that have been captured by the greatest National Geographic photographers and still get stunning images.

Each workshop will be specialized in a technique of photography The first workshop to be held on Saturday, October 5 is called Expressive portraits and it will allow to know two resources of visual language that are essential to achieve a portrait with expression: the vertical framing and the foreground.

He Saturday 12th the workshop is called Light and movement and these elements are worked as the main means of expression in the images.

He October 19the workshop is called The decisive moment And the challenge is to learn to capture the right moment that makes an image special.

He saturday 26 The workshop will be dedicated to the composition and it will be played with the placement of key elements to convey harmony in the photos.
